Job summary

5N Plus is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team in St. George, Utah, specializing in semiconductor wafer polishing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in semiconductor processing, with wafer polishing expertise.
Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
Experience with statistical process control and data analysis.
Experience with FMEA and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead process optimization initiatives for semiconductor wafer polishing operations.
Develop and implement innovative solutions to reduce variation and costs.
Design and validate new manufacturing processes and equipment configurations.
Monitor critical process parameters (temperature, pressure, gas flow).
Conduct root-cause analysis to reduce defect rates and drive yield improvements.
Mentor team members and maintain detailed process documentation.
