Job summary

TSMC AZ is seeking a Wafer Outgoing Quality Assurance Engineer to lead new wafer inspection sites and optimize OQA tooling at the Phoenix facility. You will perform defect analyses, drive quality improvements, and collaborate on yield enhancement initiatives in a fast-paced, cleanroom environment.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s or higher in engineering or science, with a master’s preferred, and have project management experience plus familiarity with AI/ML techniques for process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Establish new outgoing wafer inspection sites to ensure high quality.
• Release and maintain recipes for OQA tools and monitor quality control processes.
• Perform wafer defect failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Develop OQA quality improvement projects and enhance data analytics.
• Collaborate to design solutions for yield improvement and defect reduction.
• Support AI and machine learning initiatives to improve inspection efficiency.
• Manage projects with proactive communication and innovative problem solving.
• Operate in cleanroom environments following safety and quality standards.
