Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an Wafer Outgoing Quality Assurance Engineer to lead new outgoing wafer inspection sites, manage OQA tool recipes, and drive defect and yield improvements in a cutting-edge fab environment.

The role emphasizes AI/ML-supported quality assurance, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to enable top-tier product reliability in semiconductor processes, all while maintaining strict safety and cleanliness standards at our Phoenix facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Science, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies is expected.
• Familiarity with AI program development and Machine Learning techniques is advantageous.
• Experience in yield improvement, defect reduction, or similar quality initiatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish new outgoing wafer inspection sites to ensure smooth operations and high-quality standards.
• Release, maintain, and set up recipes for OQA tools and monitor quality control processes.
• Perform wafer defect failure analysis, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement OQA quality improvement projects and enhance big data analytics.
• Collaborate with teams to design solutions for yield improvement and defect reduction.
• Support AI program development and ML techniques to improve inspections.
• Manage projects with proactive communication and innovative problem-solving.
• Work in cleanroom environments following safety and quality standards.
