Job summary

TSMC Arizona is hiring a Wafer Outgoing Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Quality & Reliability team at our Phoenix facility. You will establish wafer inspection sites, release and tune OQA tool recipes, and drive defect analysis and big-data QA projects.

Collaborating across teams, you will lead yield improvement efforts, implement AI/machine learning techniques to automate inspections, and ensure safe, compliant operations in a state-of-the-art fab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor quality engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish new outgoing wafer inspection sites to ensure smooth operations and high-quality standards.
• Release, maintain, and set up recipes for OQA tools and monitor quality control processes.
• Perform wafer defect failure analysis, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement OQA quality improvement projects and enhance big data analytics.
• Collaborate with teams to design solutions for yield improvement and defect reduction.
• Support AI program development and machine learning techniques to improve inspections.
• Manage projects with proactive communication and innovative problem-solving.
• Work in cleanroom/advanced manufacturing environments with safety and quality focus.
