Job summary

SEH America in Vancouver, Washington, seeks a Process Technician focused on metrology and wafer inspection to ensure product quality. The role is 100% on-site with a Monday–Friday days schedule; occasional nights/weekends may be required to meet deadlines.

You will read and follow complex instructions, wear cleanroom PPE, and participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives. Applicants should have 5+ years in semiconductor/metrology, strong data analysis, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor or metrology environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Proven data manipulation and analysis skills.
• Able to work effectively with engineering, production, maintenance, quality, and facilities personnel.
• Must respect viewpoints and handle conversations professionally and diplomatically.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, evaluate, and analyze metrology data to ensure product quality.
• Identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot metrology equipment including ADE flatness systems and edge tools.
• Perform qualifications, calibrations, and verification checks for measurement accuracy.
• Investigate measurement anomalies, tool errors, and out-of-control conditions.
• Coordinate corrective actions with engineering, maintenance, and production.
• Collect and analyze metrology data using SPC and statistical methods.
• Present findings to production, engineering, and management as required.
• Support process improvement to enhance measurement capability and productivity.
• Work with vendors for installation, upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain SWPs, SOCs, FMEAs, and control plans to ensure compliance.
• Maintain equipment performance through inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Perform measurement system studies and gauge capability evaluations.
• Support product qualifications, engineering trials, and customer studies requiring metrology data.
• Assist training of operators and technicians on inspection/metrology equipment.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to SEHA Guiding Principles and participate in CI activities.
