GPD Optoelectronics Corp. is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator in Salem, NH. This role involves hands-on wafer processing tasks including thinning, dicing, testing, and certifying wafer lots in a semi-automated fab environment. Strong manual dexterity and attention to process quality are essential for success.

Regionally commutable to Salem, NH preferred. The position reports to the Wafer Fabrication Manager and is full-time and non-exempt in a cleanroom setting.

Qualifications

• LEAN OR Six Sigma experience desirable but not required.
• Ability to identify, multi-task, and resolve multiple priority issues quickly.
• Ability to approach tasks in a detail-oriented manner.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
• Experience processing group III-V and IV semiconductors.
• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)

Responsabilités

• Wafer thinning, metallization, dicing/scribing, grinding, wafer probe, pick and place, and wafer/device testing.
• Front end processes: photolithography, optical coatings, wet chemical processing, metallization, RIE & PECVD thin film deposition.
• Wafer fabrication, back end operations and testing of InGaAs and Germanium photodiodes.
• Maintain lot traceability through backend operations.
• Manual handling of fragile parts and adherence to safety measures.
• Support daily plans and adapt priorities as assigned to production lots.
