Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician in Hillsboro, OR. The role focuses on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military experience.
Minimum 2 years hands-on maintenance experience in high-volume semiconductor environment.
Direct experience on wafer fabrication equipment in a cleanroom environment.
Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear PPE as required.
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills with a drive toward standardized methods.
Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
Able to navigate and operate computers; comfortable working with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wafer fabrication equipment.
Prioritize tasks with factory management and coordinate with peers and engineering.
Investigate root causes of failures and drive improvements to equipment availability.
Coordinate with vendors and field service; participate in required trainings.
Attend shift hand-off meetings and document all work performed.
