Job summary

Wolfspeed in Durham, NC is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to perform preventive maintenance on production tools, collaborate with operations, process and equipment engineering teams, and help maximize equipment uptime on a 12‑hour day or night shift.

You will document maintenance activities, disassemble and reassemble equipment per manuals, use test and diagnostic tools, support 5S, and assist with spare parts delivery. Strong safety and blueprint-reading skills are required.

Qualifications

High school education or GED.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics and maintenance manuals.
Mechanical aptitude for specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools in accordance with equipment specifications.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance via paper and electronic checklists.
Disassemble and reassemble equipment according to manuals and schematics.
Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment checks.
Improve up-time and equipment performance through repeatable tasks.
Support the 5S program for a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing area.
Provide equipment spare parts support, repair and replacement delivery.
