Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a Facilities Operations Technician in Durham, NC to maintain uninterrupted utilities and life safety systems. The role supports HVAC, hydronic, chilled systems and exhaust networks to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has experience with building management systems/SCADA, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts with on-call coverage for adverse weather and emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• 5 years of related experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with building management systems/SCADA to monitor and troubleshoot facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor preventive maintenance and operate HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Use SCADA/control software to monitor equipment and respond to alarms.
• Start/stop equipment and support new equipment installation, startup and commissioning.
• Adhere to safety policies, train others and work in a 24x7 production facility.
