Wolfspeed’s Epi Equipment Engineering and Maintenance team is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to perform preventative and proactive maintenance tasks on production equipment at our Silicon Drive Durham, NC location. Maintenance Specialists interact directly with operations, process, equipment engineering, and other groups to meet department and Wolfspeed goals. Candidates working in this area must exhibit and maintain safe working practices. The ideal candidate for these positions are individuals who are looking to gain hands‑on mechanical and electrical experience with the goal of progressing into an Equipment Maintenance Technician pathway at the company. This posting is for a position that will directly support operations at the Silicon Drive Durham, NC location.
Wafer Operations Equipment Maintenance Specialists will support a 12-hour manufacturing day or night shift on a Front End or Back End shift pattern. The working hours are from 6:45 AM – 7:00 PM for dayshift or 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM for nightshift.
Wolfspeed Technician Certification Program (TCP) graduates preferred
