Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to implement and manage Web Application Firewall solutions for client applications. You will monitor traffic, analyze security events, and respond to incidents while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen security.

The role requires hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Imperva, Terraform for IaC, and strong ITIL-aware incident management. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–5 years of web application security operations experience.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Imperva WAFs required.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize WAF solutions to protect web applications.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor traffic and security events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security incidents and perform root cause analysis and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain WAF policies, rules, and documentation.
