Job summary

Atlas is a trusted environmental and infrastructure consulting leader with offices across the US. We’re seeking a WABO Special Inspector to provide essential inspection services on major transportation projects in the Pacific Northwest.

WABO certification is required; proficiency in structural steel and post-tensioned concrete is preferred. You will read specifications, prepare timely reports, and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines while upholding Atlas’s safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• WABO certification required; preferably structural steel and post-tensioned concrete.
• ICC certifications (multiple categories) and other materials-related certifications
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to meet timelines, including short, long and emergency timeframes
• Must follow written and verbal instructions; valid driver's license; MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Conduct applicable inspections as scheduled
• Read, interpret and understand project specifications and drawings
• Prepare timely and accurate reports and documentation of field activities and testing results
• Ensure accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness of results
