Job summary

Atlas is seeking a WABO Special Inspector to perform inspections on major transportation projects in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate is WABO certified, with emphasis on structural steel and post-tensioned concrete, and will produce accurate field reports and testing results.

Qualifications

• WABO certification required. Preferably structural steel and post tensioned concrete.
• ICC certifications (multiple categories) preferred.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I preferred.
• Radiation Safety/Nuclear Density Gauge, WAQTC, CWI, NACE and other materials related certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applicable inspections as scheduled
• High proficiency with verbal and written communication
• Read, interpret and understand project specifications and drawings
• Prepare timely and accurate reports and documentation of field activities and testing results
• Accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness of results is essential
