Job summary

Atlas is hiring a WABO Special Inspector to provide inspection services on major transportation projects in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate is WABO certified, preferably with structural steel and post-tensioned concrete experience, and will join a client- and community-focused team delivering safe, sustainable results.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, reading specs, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate documentation with strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• WABO certification required. Preferably structural steel and post-tensioned concrete.
• ICC certifications and material testing certifications preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Valid driver's license upon hire and familiarity with construction practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applicable inspections as scheduled
• High proficiency with verbal and written communication
• Read, interpret and understand project specifications and drawings
• Prepare timely and accurate reports and documentation of field activities and testing results
• Accuracy, attention to detail and timeliness of results is essential
