Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a Washington Workers' Compensation Claims professional to join one of our client's dynamic and growing teams. You will manage WA workers' comp claims, build strong customer relationships, and ensure timely and fair resolution for all parties involved.

This role offers $75,000-$90,000/year based on experience, plus annual bonus potential and full benefits, with competitive PTO, holidays, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience handling Washington indemnity claims.
• WA Adjuster's license required.
• Knowledge of Washington state workers' compensation laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process Washington workers' compensation claims per policies and regulations.
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine claim validity.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, legal teams, and other stakeholders to gather information.
• Communicate updates to claimants, employers, and insurers.
• Negotiate settlements and manage litigation when necessary.

The Jonus Group is an insurance-only, full-service recruiting firm that offers both direct hire and contract hire services and we are seeking a Washington Workers Compensation Claims professional to join one of our valued clients dynamic and growing team. As a key member of their Claims department, you will not only be responsible for managing their Workers Comp Claims in Washington, but you will also be a key member of the team in building strong customer relationships, providing strong customer service, and ensuring timely and fair resolution for all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and process Washington workers' compensation claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity of claims.
• Collaborate with medical professionals, legal teams, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, and insurance providers to provide updates and address inquiries.
• Negotiate settlements and manage litigation when necessary.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, legal changes, and best practices in workers' compensation.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster handling Washington Indemnity claims
• WA Adjuster's license
• Knowledge of Washington state workers' compensation laws, regulations, and industry practices
• Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite
