Job summary

Jobot seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Manager in Asheville, NC, with 8+ years in municipal design. You will lead a team, oversee treatment facility projects, and manage client relationships in a hybrid work setting with 2 days in office and 3 from home.

You should hold a PE license or be able to obtain it within six months, and have AutoCAD Civil 3D experience. The role offers growth and Above Market compensation.

Responsibilities

• + As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will lead and mentor a dynamic team focused on water and wastewater projects.


• + Responsible for overseeing the design and management of linear infrastructure, water/wastewater systems, and treatment facilities


• + Building strong client relationships will be key, as you will regularly engage with clients to ensure the highest standards of satisfaction.


• + Your projects will involve a variety of tasks including treatment facility design, raw water intakes, booster pump stations, regional water planning, water system mapping, sanitary sewer system design, asset management, and permitting requirements.

Qualifications

• + Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.


• + 8 or more years of experience in the technical design of municipal water and wastewater systems.


• + Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.


• + Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
