Job summary

Findlay Volkswagen Henderson is seeking a skilled Flat Rate Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in accordance with dealer and factory standards. You will conduct multi-point inspections, use diagnostic tools, and provide accurate time estimates while maintaining customer trust and vehicle safety.

The role requires communicating with service and parts advisors, staying current on VW technical bulletins, and training through factory-sponsored programs.

Qualifications

• Literate in spoken and written English language.
• Clear background and pre-employment screening required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
• ASCE Certification preferred.
• Volkswagen Technician designation preferred.
• Maintain an inventory of standard technician tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction(s) and perform repairs.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Conduct multi-point inspections for safety and reliability.
• Communicate with Service Advisors about recommendations.
• Ensure shop is clean, organized, and safe.
• Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
