Group 1 Volkswagen Hub City is seeking an experienced Automotive Flat Rate Technician to join our service team in Lubbock, TX. You will perform high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and road tests while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Automotive Flat Rate Technician experience required.
• Previous experience servicing Volkswagen vehicles required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• ASE certification(s) or certification(s) in brakes/electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors
