Job summary

Apogee Integration LLC in Chantilly, VA seeks a seasoned VV&T Test Director to lead verification, validation, and transition activities for overhead space capabilities. You will guide test planning, execution, and documentation, coordinate with government and contractor partners, and brief senior stakeholders.

The role requires a TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance, a technical engineering degree, and proven leadership of complex test campaigns.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering, CS, math, physics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with verification, validation, testing, integration, or transition of complex systems.
• Experience as Test Director/Activity Lead or similar leadership role.
• Experience developing/test plans, procedures, and readiness materials.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a VV&T Activity Lead and Test Director for new overhead assets and capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight to subordinate Test Directors, including monitoring the status of test plans, supporting documentation, schedules, and test activities.
• Report to the Technical Lead and Government Lead on test execution, documentation, schedules, risks, and overall VV&T activities.
• Evaluate system architectures, requirements, risks, opportunities, and processes to identify verification, validation, and transition impacts.
• Develop and maintain verification, validation, and transition documentation for new and modified operational assets.
• Develop RFCs and provide status briefings on test schedules, documentation, risks, and related activities to segment and NRO leadership.
