Job summary

PGH Wong Engineering, Inc. seeks a Handover Oversight Manager to lead the handover process across the life of the D/B contract, aiming for final system certification and successful handover to authorities.

The role emphasizes plan development, staffing, and contractor coordination for Substantial Completion submittals. Responsibilities include serving on the Certification Committee, managing submittal workflows, conducting due diligence checks, reviewing punch lists, and auditing handover

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Industrial or related field preferred.
• Rail experience is preferred but not required.
• IBM Rational DOORS experience preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Handover Oversight Plan to manage the process, staff, and contractor for Section Substantial Completion submittals.
• Serve as a member of the Certification Committee.
• Manage the contractor Section Substantial Completion submittal process.
• Perform Due Diligence Checking on Section Substantial Completion submittals, including inspections, surveys, and tests.
• Reviews the punch list items and the Exceptions List.
• Logging and tracking of all Handover and Section Submittal Completion submittals, including metric reports.
• Audit D/B contractor Handover and Section Submittal Completion procedures.
