Job summary

MCFA seeks an experienced Turnover Manager to lead turnover, systems completion, mechanical completion, and project handover for a large-scale industrial capital project. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive end-to-end readiness from construction through commissioning and operations.

The role requires deep knowledge of turnover processes, compliance with regulated environments, and collaboration with Engineering, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• 5–10 years of turnover, systems completion, mechanical completion, commissioning, project handover, or related functions.
• Proven success developing turnover programs for large-scale capital projects.
• Experience with system walkdowns, punch list management, and handover requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement turnover strategies, procedures, and documentation systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish turnover governance, processes, workflows, and organizational structures to support successful project delivery.
• Lead planning and execution of system and subsystem turnover activities.
• Coordinate turnover packages, completion records, certificates, and project dossiers.
• Manage punch list generation, prioritization, tracking, and closeout activities.
• Plan and participate in system walkdowns with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
• Oversee mechanical completion, systems completion, commissioning readiness, and final handover activities.
• Identify and mitigate turnover risks, schedule impacts, and documentation gaps.
