Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Security Software Engineer to help operate and improve an AI-powered vulnerability operations platform. You will own production responsibilities from day one, keeping the scanning fleet healthy, improving triage, and ensuring data trust across thousands of repositories and live applications.

The role involves building backend services in Python, frontend work in React/TypeScript, and database modeling with Postgres.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of software engineering experience (internships count).
Solid Python fundamentals.
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Comfort in a Linux/Git environment and debugging across unfamiliar systems.
Interest in security and ownership of problems from root cause.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations of the vulnerability management hub and its two AI scanning engines.
Build and maintain features across the stack: Python/FastAPI backend, React/TypeScript frontend, and Postgres data models.
Triaging platform feedback from security engineers and repo owners; reproduce bugs and run data reconciliations.
Operate the GitOps deployment pipeline (Kubernetes/OpenShift, ArgoCD, Vault).
Improve scan coverage and data quality across multiple VCS platforms; ownership attribution and dedup logic.
Collaborate with senior engineers on LLM agent harnesses powering scanning and verification.
