Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Security Software Engineer to help run and improve our AI-powered vulnerability operations platform. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of software engineering experience (internships count), with solid Python fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Comfort in a Linux/Git environment and a willingness to debug across unfamiliar systems.
• Interest in security and a desire to become an expert.
• Strong ownership instincts: follow problems to root cause and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day operations of vulnerability management hub and AI scanning engines.
• Build and maintain features across stack: Python/FastAPI backends, React/TypeScript frontends, and Postgres data models.
• Operate GitOps deployment pipeline (Kubernetes/OpenShift, ArgoCD, Vault) and shipping releases.
• Improve scan coverage and data quality across multiple repos and tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on LLM agent harnesses powering scanning and verification.
