Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training) for a remote, hourly contract. Bring real-world expertise in how security teams discover, prioritize, and remediate risk to shape how AI understands vulnerabilities.

You will analyze CVEs and vulnerability reports, classify severity, and help generate and validate security-reasoning data for AI training. Flexible 10–40 hours/week with autonomy and global collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security.
  • Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization.
  • Able to articulate the difference between theoretical risk and what actually matters in a live environment.
  • A structured, analytical thinker who communicates clearly in writing.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
  • Classify severity, exploitability, impact, and appropriate remediation strategies
  • Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and risk prioritization decision-making scenarios
  • Generate, label, and validate realistic security-reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems
  • Apply your practical knowledge of how production security teams actually operate to ensure AI outputs reflect real-world judgment

Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training)

We're looking for experienced vulnerability management and security operations professionals to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on cybersecurity content. Your real-world expertise in how security teams discover, prioritize, and remediate risk will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about vulnerabilities — making a meaningful impact on the future of security-aware AI.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
  • Classify severity, exploitability, impact, and appropriate remediation strategies

Who You Are

Nice to Have
  • Experience with tools like Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar scanners
  • Familiarity with CVSS scoring, EPSS, or exposure management platforms
  • Background in threat intelligence or red/blue team operations
  • Prior experience contributing to AI training, data labeling, or security research
