Alignerr is seeking an experienced Incident Response Analyst for AI training across remote projects. You will analyze security events and AI-generated responses, assess root causes, and help refine investigation playbooks for real-world effectiveness.

Ideal candidates have SOC/IR experience, strong SIEM knowledge, and clear written communication skills. This is a remote, freelance engagement with flexible hours and ongoing opportunities.

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on SOC, incident response, or security operations experience.
• Solid understanding of SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling.
• Clear, methodical communicator able to explain reasoning in writing.

Responsabilidades

• Assess impact, root cause, and remediation paths for simulated and real-world scenarios.
• Review detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks for accuracy.
• Verify that AI-generated incident analysis reflects how real security operations teams work.
• Provide structured, expert feedback to help AI models reason about threats and investigations.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

What You'll Do

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations
• Solid understanding of SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling
• Skilled at triaging alerts and distinguishing meaningful threats from noise
• Clear and methodical communicator — able to explain your reasoning in writing
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST incident response guidelines
• Background working in enterprise, cloud, or hybrid security environments
• Prior involvement with AI evaluation, red teaming, or security research
