Job summary

PrimeDefense USA in Las Vegas seeks an Information Security Analyst to protect our systems, assess risks, and implement security controls. You will lead vulnerability assessments, monitor networks, and develop incident response plans to mitigate threats.

The role requires 2+ years of information security experience, a CS/IT degree, and strong communication skills. This is a part-time, on-site position with preference for Indian nationals or those authorized to work in India.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of information security experience.
• Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures.
• Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Investigate security incidents and develop incident response plans.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats to ensure security measures are effective.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions.
