Job summary

ForceShield in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to implement and maintain security measures protecting our data and systems. The role will conduct vulnerability assessments, monitor traffic, and respond to incidents to safeguard critical assets.

The position is a contract with the possibility for full-time employment. A BS in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years in information security are required, with professional security certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in information security.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS, etc.
• Experience with risk assessment and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, NIST, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular network and system vulnerability assessments.
• Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity.
• Implement security solutions to protect against cyber threats.
• Create and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats and technologies.
