Job summary

SummitLogic in Las Vegas is seeking an Information Security Analyst to protect the company’s data and systems from cyber threats and support a strong security posture.

The role involves audits, policy development, network monitoring, and incident response. Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in information security are required; CISSP/CISA/CISM certifications and cloud experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security.
• Knowledge of network security systems (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, etc).
• Familiarity with PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR or other compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Analyst to join our team in Las Vegas As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for protecting the companys data and systems from potential cyber threats This is a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for technology and security to contribute to the success of our organization

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement security policies procedures and protocols
• Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or attacks
• Respond to security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in information security

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security
• Knowledge of network security systems such as firewalls intrusion detection systems etc
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCI DSS HIPAA GDPR etc
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISSP CISA or CISM
• Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability management tools
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments AWS Azure

Salary Starting at $1100 per month
