Job summary

Intellekt seeks a VTC (Video Teleconference) Technician to support mixed VTC configurations across JWICS, SIPR, and NIPR rooms with associated AV equipment. The role involves scheduling, maintenance, and hands-on repair of conferencing systems at Goodfellow AFB.

Ideal candidates have Security+ and an Information Technology degree, at least 2 years of VTC/room ops experience, Top Secret/SCI eligibility, and a valid US passport. Contract duration is 2–4 months, on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with scheduling VTCs.
• Coordinate scheduling of VTCs with enterprise bridge.
• Provide support to identify, isolate and repair malfunctioning VTC equipment including microphones, speakers, displays, codex, control systems, video/audio matrix and cabling.
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance of AV VTC equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance with vendor per maintenance agreement; handle warranty items as needed.
• Support system security efforts such as system accreditation; install patches/firmware updates.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary

The VTC Technician will have experience with the implementation and operation of integrated computer based audiovisual systems with minimal oversight. The VTC Maintainer will support six (6) JWICS VTC conference rooms, four (4) SIPR VTC conference rooms, two (2) NIPR VTC conference rooms, and two (2) Audio Visual presentation systems in two conference rooms, for a total of 14 systems.

Essential Functions

• Assist customers with scheduling VTCs.
• Manage and coordinate scheduling of VTC with enterprise bridge.
• Provide technical support to identify, isolate and repair malfunctioning AVVTC equipment and systems to include microphones, speakers, displays, codex, control systems, video audio matrix and amplifier subsystems, and associated cabling.
• Perform periodic preventive maintenance of AV VTC equipment.
• Coordinate and schedule, per maintenance agreement, with vendor on routine or autocycle maintenance. Coordinate warranty repair replacement items as needed.
• Gather and provide information for system security efforts such as system accreditation. Install patches, firmware updates, etc. to maintain system security.
• Other duties as assigned
