Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an HIL Commissioning Engineer to build VT HIL systems, develop harnesses, and integrate components for automotive testing. You will set up, commission, and validate HIL environments including Breakout Box, ECU, and loads across vehicle platforms.

You will debug hardware interfaces, map I/O, and ensure simulator accuracy, while coordinating with automation teams for fault-injection tests and full bench validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in EE, CE, or CS.
• Experience with HIL Commissioning and VT systems.
• Experience in hardware interface, wiring harnesses, mapping I/O with VT boards.
• Ability to work on automated tests across CAN architecture platforms.
• Experience with simulator software for CAN fault insertion testing and diagnostic verification.

Responsibilities

• Build VT HIL systems and real and virtual loads, and integrate all components.
• Set up Breakout Box, and coordinate HIL system integration in vehicles and test benches.
• Architect and integrate VT Systems for Component HIL.
• Debug and troubleshoot HIL setup and operation across CAN networks.
• Define requirements for simulator I/O, instrumentation, and automation.”
• Review component schematics and translate requirements to hardware and signal interfaces.
• Validate and troubleshoot simulators, test benches, and vehicle environments.
• Coordinate with Test Automation to run fault-injection tests and ensure proper data capture.
