Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an HIL Commissioning Engineer in Michigan to build and validate VT HIL systems and integrate ECU components with wiring harnesses. You will work on real and virtual loads, developing harnesses and verifying CAN interfaces across test benches.

The role requires hands-on HIL installation, troubleshooting, and experience with CANoe, CAN interfaces, and VT hardware. Collaborative testing and automation coordination are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE, or CS.
• Hands-on HIL commissioning and VT systems experience.
• Experience with CAN interfaces and CANoe.
• Ability to create schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Debugging automotive HIL setups.

Responsibilities

• Build and simulate HIL systems for open loop commissioning.
• Set up HIL integrations and ECU components, loads, and wiring harnesses.
• Develop CAN interfaces to all communication boards.
• Coordinate with Test Automation for fault injection tests.
• Validate and troubleshoot simulator and test bench.
