VRT Maintenance Technician - Robotic & Conveyor Systems

Job summary

Case Farms is seeking a maintenance technician to support the VRT area in our Dudley, NC facility. You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and coordinate with the maintenance supervisor to ensure continuous operation of conveyor, Robotic systems, doors and climate control equipment.

You will work with VRT production staff and OEMs to identify improvements, maintain safety, and perform repairs across the plant, including extreme cold conditions and high-noise environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in poultry processing maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with conveyor belt systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Experience with industrial robots and sorting systems a plus.
• Ability to work in extreme cold conditions and in noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety policies are followed.
• Implement PMs and work orders to maintain all VRT equipment.
• Build, improve, and expand the planned maintenance program for VRT.
• Troubleshoot and repair all VRT area equipment with diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate with OEMs to troubleshoot, repair equipment and quote parts.
• Perform walkthroughs during production to identify wear and plan preventive maintenance.
• Maintain and repair VRT conveyor belt, sorting, and labeling systems.
• Maintain VRT robots including mechanical maintenance and diagnostics.
