Job summary

Case Farms is seeking a maintenance technician for the VRT area to perform planned and predictive maintenance on conveyors, robots, and cold storage equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and document maintenance activities while coordinating with shifts and the maintenance supervisor.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with industrial robots and sorting systems, and the ability to work in extreme cold environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in poultry processing maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, conveyor belts, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Experience with industrial robots, CFS, strappers, and sorting systems is a plus.
• Understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Understanding of manufacturing technologies.
• Understanding of standard software applications.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and pride in work.
• Strong communication between technicians, supervisor, and other departments is a must.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude.
• Able to work in extreme cold conditions as low as -35 °F for planned and emergency maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies and maintain equipment in the VRT area.
• Implement planned maintenance and work orders for VRT equipment.
• Collaborate with PM coordinator to improve the maintenance program.
• Troubleshoot and repair VRT equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate with OEMs for troubleshooting and parts quotes.
• Maintain VRT conveyors, robots, and cold storage systems.
• Work with night shift to ensure complete pass-down and no gaps.
• Assist other plant areas as needed.
