Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Familiarity with QA methodologies, metrics, tools, and processes.
• Ability to author clear, concise, and thorough test plans and test cases.

Responsibilities

• Defines, performs, analyzes, and interprets tests for products and product components.
• Develops and applies testing procedures.
• Devises and maintains quality control and reliability standards.
• Provides technical support to other engineering departments.
• Ensures testing procedures meet industry standards.
• Ensures accurate record of measurement data.
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Executes comprehensive test plans for VMTs, simulators, and part-task training software.
• Writes and manages acceptance tests aligned with functional and user requirements.
• Collaborates with QA leads, developers, and instructional designers to validate system behavior and catch defects early.
• Documents and tracks bugs, issues, and test results in Jira.
• Contributes to system documentation and knowledge bases using Confluence.
• Creates and maintains test cases, test scripts, and user validation scenarios.
• Provides clear, actionable feedback and participates in product reviews and sprint planning.
• Ensures every release meets performance and usability standards across a wide range of use cases.
