Job summary

QTEC Aerospace in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Software Applications Test Analyst to join a multi-contractor team supporting Missile Defense programs. The role centers on analyzing test data to verify system design and supporting automated verification with testing tools.

The candidate should thrive on problem-solving with test engineers and software developers in an Agile environment. Required: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field with extensive experience, and DoD 8140 IAT Level II

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5 years of experience or Master’s with 3 years; or 9 years experience as alternative to degree.
• Active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher preferred or must be obtained within 40 days of start.
• Must support in-person/closed-area work environment daily.
• Experience with Java and C# in a software-intensive system.

Responsibilities

• Assist the software development team in verifying requirements using automated verification and testing tools.
• Analyze and test a software-intensive system across multiple environments using Agile development.
