Blumenthal Arts is seeking a Mission Specialist for Blume Studios’ immersive VR experiences in Charlotte, NC. This temporary, part-time role involves guiding guests from arrival to departure, assisting with onboarding, and ensuring a safe and engaging visit.

You will help guests with VR equipment, manage flow, address accessibility needs, and support retail transactions while maintaining a welcoming environment that reflects Blume Studios’ brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in guest-facing roles.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to engage guests of all ages.
• Comfortable with learning VR technology and assisting beginners.
• Clear communication in fast-paced environments.
• Reliability, teamwork, and a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and assist with check-in or ticket scanning.
• Deliver friendly, professional communication throughout the guest journey.
• Lead onboarding/orientation and explain rules clearly.
• Assist guests with VR equipment setup, fit, and basic controls.
• Maintain equipment safety and cleanliness between guests.
• Support merchandise interactions and point-of-sale transactions as needed.
