Dept for Aging & Rehab Svcs at Wilson Workforce and Rehabilitation Center (WWRC) seeks a VR Counselor to coordinate vocational services for participants with disabilities. The counselor leads an interdisciplinary team, guides service planning, supports participants during their stay and transition home, and maintains accurate case documentation.

Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling (or in progress) and CRC eligibility, with demonstrated interviewing,

• Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling or closely related field.
• CRC credential or eligible to sit for credential.

Responsibilities

• Rehabilitation Planning: establish employment goals, coordinate services, monitor progress, and counsel participants.
• Team Leadership: lead interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team meetings and coordinate services.
• Case Documentation: maintain accurate case records in required systems and ensure timely discharge reports.
• Sponsor Relations: build relationships with sponsors and referral sources; respond to feedback.
