Job summary

Rehab Without Walls in Austin, TX is seeking a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) / Vocational Counselor PRN to support adults with neurological injuries in rehabilitation and community reintegration.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop vocational plans, deliver direct therapy, document progress, and promote independence. The position offers a flexible schedule and no weekend shifts, with competitive pay for direct and indirect time.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling is required.
• CRC credential strongly preferred.
• Minimum two years vocational counseling experience with neurological impairments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients' work history, interests, and abilities to determine vocational potential.
• Develop individualized vocational rehabilitation treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer direct treatment and build skills for independent functioning.
• Design pre-vocational programs and oversee plan implementation.
• Provide training and document outcomes per plan.
• Communicate progress to clients, families, and staff.
