Learning Care is seeking a Lead VPK Teacher in Florida to plan, assess, and instruct 4-year-olds according to VPK guidelines and center requirements.

You will manage classroom activities, promote child development, and collaborate with families to support student success. A CDA/AA or higher in education is required, with experience leading a classroom and creating lesson plans.

Qualifications

• CDA, Associates degree or higher in education or Florida Child Care Professional Certificate.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsabilités

• Create and develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care: promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots: lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and know licensing guidelines, company standards, and VPK program requirements.
• Communicate: build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and center success.

The VPK, Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program, prepares early learners for success in kindergarten and beyond. VPK helps build a strong foundation for school using educational material corresponding to various stages in a child's development. The VPK Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program.

As a Lead VPK Teacher, you’ll:

• Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and VPK program requirements.
