Job summary

Learning Care seeks a Lead VPK Teacher in Orlando, FL to plan and deliver engaging early childhood education for 4-year-olds. You will mentor fellow teachers, manage classroom activities, and ensure compliance with VPK program requirements and licensing guidelines.

You’ll build strong relationships with families and enrollments, promoting child achievement and center success through collaborative teamwork and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• CDA, Associates degree or higher in education or Florida Child Care Professional Certificate
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children

• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots! Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and VPK program requirements.

The VPK, Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program, prepares early learners for success in kindergarten and beyond. VPK helps build a strong foundation for school using educational material corresponding to various stages in a child's development. The VPK Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program.

As a Lead VPK Teacher, you’ll:
