Learning Care is hiring a State Pre-K Lead Teacher for our Brandon, FL center. You will plan, assess and instruct to meet each child’s needs, preparing them for Kindergarten."

We seek change-makers who stay curious and open-hearted, with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field, plus an active CDA and VPK endorsement. You’ll mentor teachers, manage the classroom and stay compliant with licensing guidelines while building strong family partnerships.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Family Studies or related degree.
• Active CDA and VPK endorsement.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop and implement fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Care for the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation; be an expert on licensing guidelines and program requirements.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and center success.

The State Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

Must have active CDA and be VPK endorsed

As a Lead Pre-K Teacher, you'll:

• Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.

• Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Pre-K program requirements.
