Job summary

Vets Hired is seeking a Vice President to lead value-based care impact and strategy. You will develop frameworks to measure impact across clinical, financial, operational, quality, utilization, patient experience, and health equity outcomes, translating data into actionable insights for payers, providers, and executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in value-based care or related fields.
• Experience with health plans, provider orgs, ACOs, or MSOs.
• Deep understanding of VBC models, risk sharing, and incentives.
• Strong data literacy across claims, financial and quality data.
• Ability to translate analyses into executive narratives and ROI.
• Experience communicating with senior healthcare leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop frameworks to measure impact and value of VBC programs.
• Define clinical, financial, operational, quality, utilization, patient experience, and health equity measures.
• Partner with analytical and healthcare teams to develop evidence supporting value propositions.
• Synthesize clinical, financial, operational, and performance data into actionable insights.
• Identify key drivers of cost, utilization, quality, and clinical outcomes.
• Use performance evidence to inform strategy, program design, investments, products, and care models.
• Develop evidence-based value stories tailored to payer, provider, executive, and other stakeholders.
• Translate complex performance results into clear executive-level narratives.
• Present value-based care impact and performance to senior executives, Boards, customers, and external stakeholders.
• Advise leadership on value-based care performance, opportunities, and risks.
• Support the strategy and evolution of value-based care models.
• Collaborate with clinical, actuarial, finance, analytics, operations, product, network, growth, and commercial teams.
• Provide payer and provider perspectives in program design and priorities.
• Strengthen the quality, consistency, and credibility of impact measurement and value reporting.
• Translate performance evidence into actionable recommendations that strengthen organizational value.
