Job summary

Alignment Health seeks a Vice President of Clinical Operations to lead the strategic development, design, and continuous improvement of clinical programs across value-based care. Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive leadership in care management, population health, or clinical operations.
• Deep understanding of Medicare Advantage, Transitional Care Management (TCM), STARS and HEDIS metrics, and value-based care models.
• Proven track record developing scalable clinical programs that improve outcomes and reduce cost.
• Experience leveraging analytics and technology and embedding care management modules inside EHR systems.
• Deep understanding of utilization management, care management, and risk adjustment functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive clinical strategy aligned with medical cost management, quality metrics, and member engagement.
• Design end-to-end transitional care and chronic disease programs to improve outcomes and reduce hospital utilization.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across clinical operations, population health, risk adjustment, and quality improvement.
• Oversee vendor partnerships and collaboration with providers to optimize program performance.
• Instill a results-driven culture with measurable improvements and scalable program rollout across regions.
• Drive adoption of analytics, AI tools, and technology to enhance value-based care delivery.
