Job summary

Capstone Partners is seeking a Vice President in Financial Advisory Services with extensive valuation experience to lead engagements for middle-market clients.

You will manage valuations, develop models (DCF, comparables), and perform due diligence, delivering reports and client-ready materials. Travel and strong communication are essential as you coordinate with attorneys, accountants, and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of valuation, investment banking and/or corporate restructuring experience is required.
• Prior experience in M&A, valuations and related financial advisory services.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute business valuation and financial advisory engagements from initial analysis through final deliverables
• Perform valuations of businesses, equity interests, securities, and intangible assets for a variety of purposes including for M&A and strategic planning purposes, purchase price allocations and other financial reporting valuations
• Develop valuation models utilizing discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, and analyses of guideline public companies and comparable M&A transactions
• Coordinate and perform detailed financial and business due diligence
• Prepare valuation reports, presentations, supporting analyses, and other client deliverables
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospective clients, attorneys, accountants, and other professional advisors
