Job summary

Kroll, a global leader in risk and financial advisory, seeks a Vice President in Valuation Services to lead a range of assignments including enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, equity valuations, IP valuations, stock option valuations, and dispute consulting. You will mentor staff, manage client engagements from kickoff to completion, and perform in-depth valuation analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or MBA.
• 5–6 years of valuation modelling, including DCF, comps and intangible assets.
• CFA and/or CPA a plus.
• Experience in Energy & Energy Transition sector is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership managing client relationships and mentoring staff.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Research target industries across energy (oil & gas, utilities, energy transition) and infrastructure sectors.
• Manage engagements from client interactions to staffing and planning for timely completion.
• Perform valuation analyses and industry research using DCF, market multiples and intangibles.
• Interview clients and design financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiples and option pricing.
• Prepare strategic reports outlining data and valuation conclusions to support client decisions.
• Present reports detailing analysis and conclusions to clients.
