Job summary

BBVA in New York seeks an experienced Vice President for its US Private Placement team to originate, structure and execute USPP transactions across industries. The role requires handling detailed financial analysis, investor dialogue and close collaboration with bankers, legal, and operations to ensure top‑quality execution.

The candidate should have 5+ years in USPP with data centers, CRE or project finance exposure, strong credit and modeling skills, and FINRA licenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant USPP/execution experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.
• Strong credit analysis, modeling and structuring skills.
• Experience with data centers, commercial real estate or project finance USPP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-country stakeholders.
• FINRA Series 7, 63 and 79 licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the end-to-end execution of US Private Placement transactions, from assessment to closing.
• Collaborate with relationship bankers and sector teams to identify opportunities.
• Prepare detailed credit analyses, financial models and debt capacity assessments.
• Develop financing structures reflecting borrower objectives and investor needs.
• Create client/investor materials and coordinate internal approvals.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across Capital Markets, Credit, Legal and Operations.
