Job summary

SunState Medical Specialists seeks a Vice President, Urology to lead the urology service line across 40+ sites. The VP will manage site operations, recruitment strategy, EMR utilization, and Urology best practices, reporting to the CEO.

The role emphasizes building trust with physicians, unifying the practice, and driving operational and service line performance with central SMS teams. Requires strategic leadership and strong communication across a dispersed network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of urology experience in practice or service line operations, including 5+ years leading multi-site operations at the director level or above.
• Proven experience leading multiple layers of management across a large, dispersed footprint

Responsibilities

• Build physician relationships and advocate for operational partners across multi-site urology.
• Lead regional managers and standardize clinic templates, access, staffing, and flow.
• Drive revenue, expense, and productivity targets with Finance and CEO reporting.
• Develop and execute growth strategy for the urology service line and expand referral relationships.
• Support market-based recruitment and onboarding of physicians.
• Oversee EMR usage and revenue cycle optimization.
