Job summary

Prospect Rock Partners is seeking an experienced Vice President to join our Transportation & Logistics Group in Richmond, VA. You will lead M&A advisory activities, oversee valuation analyses, and actively contribute to new business development with direct client contact.

The role offers substantial autonomy from day one, balancing strategic deal leadership with hands-on execution and mentorship of Analysts and Associates. Sponsorship is not provided for visas; U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry-relevant experience in investment banking or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage complex financial analyses and valuation methodologies.
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Must obtain FINRA licensing (SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63) within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A advisory activities across the transportation and logistics sector throughout all phases of the deal lifecycle.
• Serve as a senior leader on transaction teams, overseeing the integrity of valuation analyses and financial models with Analysts and Associates.
• Actively lead drafting sessions, due diligence meetings, and conversations with clients and counterparties.
• Manage client communications and relationships in partnership with senior bankers.
• Identify data trends and articulate their impact to internal and external stakeholders.
