Job summary

Prospect Rock Partners in Richmond, VA seeks an Experienced Associate in its Transportation & Logistics Group to help drive deal execution in M&A and private capital advisory. You will partner with Analysts and gain exposure to senior bankers and clients from day one.

The role demands strong financial modeling, valuation skills, and the ability to translate complex data into market-ready insights. Travel up to 20% and readiness for FINRA licensing within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity.
• 1+ year as a sell-side M&A Associate strongly preferred.
• Must obtain FINRA licensing (SIE Exam, Series 79, and Series 63) within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical workstreams and contribute to live M&A deal execution.
• Oversee junior team members and manage client communications.
• Support new business development and contribute to pitch materials.
• Participate in recruiting and mentorship programs.
