Job summary

CLS is seeking a Vice President, Transformation and Change Audit to lead audits within the Internal Audit department in New Jersey. You will manage planning, testing, and findings for complex reviews, mentor junior staff, and oversee remediation tracking with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data analytics, portfolio audit leadership, and collaboration with senior management. A technology-focused degree and relevant certifications are preferred, with strong communication and regulatory

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Internal Audit within financial services (ideally banking).
• Ability to provide technical subject matter expertise during integrated audits.
• Strong analytical skills and communication at all levels of management.
• Experience with regulatory requirements (e.g., FRBNY).
• Proven track record leading a portfolio of project audits and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Audit Management and Execution: plan and test complex audits, design test papers, draft findings and executive summaries.
• Mentor junior IA members and ensure methodology consistency.
• Lead validation and tracking of remediation with oversight.
• Drive improvement of audit practices and methodology.
• Stakeholder Management / Strategic: build relationships, apply data analytics to audits, monitor portfolio risks, and report to Audit & Finance Committee.
• Professional Development: maintain knowledge, share learnings, and uphold IIA standards.
